WENU

WENU, meaning 'We' & 'You', is formed by 4 multi-talents from Hong Kong and Berlin. In their regular life, the crew members Erik, Mo, GoGoPlata, and Friendly : ) act as photographers, artists, music producer, event organizer, video editors, advertising agency co-founder, magazine founder, art director, animated film maker and illustrators. The multi-talented team met in Shanghai while working together on the German Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010 ‒ three of them as artists, one as organizer. The team came together regularly afterwards and eventually participated in Urban Art projects in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Germany. WENU’s concept is primarily about painting and creating something that is not just for a “WE” but for a “U” as well. WENU seeks for crazy ideas, originality, uniqueness and beauty, meanwhile, tries to shape the world better through their art.
